Our Body is an Amanah from Allah: One of the biggest blessings we have is our health. It’s easy to forget how blessed we are to simply be able to walk and move our bodies but really it’s a huge blessing from Allah. Show gratitude for your health through saying Alhamdulilah for it and looking after it. ⁣⁣

Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There are two blessings which many people waste: health and free time.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6049⁣⁣

To improve our Ibadah: We worship Allah with our bodies. A wise Muslim is someone who takes good care of their health to ensure that they are able to perform ibadah to the best of their abilities. ⁣⁣

Develop our characters: Your character shapes your life. The more disciplined, patient, consistent, and committed you are… well the more successful you will be in this Dunya and in the hereafter. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣

A better quality lifestyle: Fitness doesn’t just improve the way your body feels and looks. It improves your whole life as it makes you happier and healthier. ⁣⁣

For our children: Something that is often not spoken about but it’s so important especially as mothers we need to remember. Our children will look up to us. If we eat healthily they will eat healthy too. If we move our bodies they will fall in love with being active too. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣

For our husbands — A good wife looks after her appearance for her husband. Yes, your husband should love you regardless but why not preserve and enhance your beauty for him by working out and looking after your appearance? ⁣⁣
